Every bridge incident in our tracker — Ronin, Harmony, Nomad, Orbit Chain — failed on key management or message validation. None failed on cryptography.
The unglamorous mitigation
Reconciliation. If a system continuously compares locked collateral against circulating wrapped supply and alerts a human on divergence, a forged withdrawal is visible in minutes. Ronin’s went unnoticed for six days because nothing did that.
