This blog is dedicated to the people who live and work on the edge of the city. From the busy streets of New York City, to the secluded suburbs of Virginia, this is where I write about my daily life. The blog is about the daily struggles, the constant ups and downs, the ups and downs of daily life.
CarVertical is a blog about living on the edge of the city. At the time of this writing, I’m based out of New York City, but I’ll be back soon and there will be a bunch of posts about life in the suburbs (like the ones that are out there!).
carvertical is where carverVertical writes about life, about the times when life is good, and about the times when life is not so good. It’s a blog about living your life to the fullest. It’s all about the ups and downs.
Carvertical is a blog about living your life to the fullest.
Not a blog about living your life to the fullest. A blog about living your life to the fullest.
The best part of the blog is the stories. It’s like a diary but with a lot more writing. So I think when I’m on one of my random days and I see this post about the guy in the restaurant who decided to go all the way. I’m like “Wait a minute! That’s my brother! Do you even know him? He could’ve been killed! Do you even care?” And he’s like “I care!” and it’s just awesome.
We could go on and on about all the amazing stories and stories that carvertical has to share. What I have to say is that the people and stories that make up this blog are absolutely worth it. Every single day the people from carvertical come through the door and tell us something, a story, a life, whatever, that makes our lives richer.
As one of our commenters said, “The best part about carvertical is that we don’t have to wait for anyone to send us a video of some shit they posted on Facebook. We can just hear it from their perspective.” That’s right, it’s always the people who write for us about the things we’re interested in that make the blog worthwhile.
The thing is, we do have to wait for people to send us things, but the people who write the blogs are the ones who are doing it for us. And in the end, they write the blogs because they love it. The best writers love it because they get to write from a point of view that’s personal, human, and not just another blog post. They love to write and they love to share.
